New York – Manhattan has a new landmark.
The now completed Steinway Tower (construction costs around two billion dollars) is the thinnest skyscraper in the world with a height of 435.3 meters and a width of only 32 meters.
The 84 floors offer space for 60 residential units (from approx. 360 sqm), all of which enjoy an unobstructed view of New York’s Central Park. The building’s crown jewel is a four-story penthouse that was listed for $66 million.
Living further down is cheaper. Apartments were offered there from 7.5 million.
