A new Farmer Seeks Woman baby is on the way. The Boekel farmer’s wife Steffi Verhagen and her Roel are expecting their first child. “It will be a little Yvonn.”
Steffi met her boyfriend Roel in 2018 during the popular TV program and he turned out to be the one. The two are still together and on Thursday morning the farmer’s wife proudly announced that she is twenty weeks pregnant. “We know the gender. It will be a Yvonnetje, but with very long legs”, says Steffi laughing in Omroep Brabant radio program Brabants Bont. “On the ultrasound we could already see that she will be quite tall.”

Not a fancy name
Incidentally, the baby will not really be named after the presenter. “We are already quite in agreement about the name. I found it difficult for a girl not to make it sound too fussy when she’s older.”

Steffi tells on the radio that she has suffered from pregnancy ailments, but otherwise everything is going well. “I was sick and sick in the beginning. It seems to be all part of it. It is not pointless being sick so I like to talk about it.” The first child of Steffi and Roel is expected at the beginning of February.
