Steffen Tigges ruled out for Cologne’s final game against Bayern Munich due to injury

Cologne (AP) – 1. FC Köln will have to do without striker Steffen Tigges in the final Bundesliga game of the season on Saturday against champion contenders FC Bayern Munich. As the club announced on Tuesday, the 24-year-old suffered a shoulder injury in the away game at Werder Bremen last week and will have to undergo an operation. Tigges, who switched from Munich champion rivals Borussia Dortmund to FC last summer, scored the Cologne goal in the 1-1 draw in Bremen.
