Stefanos Kasselakis on the party under formation: A new beginning for the entire progressive world –

Stefanos Kasselakis describes the creation of the new party he is promoting as a new beginning in the political scene of the country. In fact, as he noted in his event – speech held in Argyroupoli on the evening of Monday, November 18, 2024, he made it clear that this is a “new beginning for the entire progressive world in Greece” and not in terms of the past. Stefanos Kasselakis developed his rationale for the following day.

With reference to what he seeks from now on, together with those who co-shape developments alongside him, he emphasized that “our opportunity is not to make a new beginning for the democratic, open-minded, companionable, solidarity part of SYRIZA. It is to make a new beginning for the whole progressive world in Greece, a new beginning for the political system.

So the opportunity right now is here with you, I have come forward, but I must only be beside you and not in front of you from now on. We all have a chance together. There are too many of us in society.”

He emphasized that the first step is registration, self-initiative, self-organization and addressing the people gathered at the event called “you decide our name”.

Referring to Koumoundourou and the withdrawal of his and his supporters, he pointed out that “in SYRIZA, it seemed that the value of the chair is so great that they preferred to exclude the majority of congressmen, they preferred to exclude the elected president and so on”…

Professional Website Editor: Good evening,⁢ Mr. and‍ Mrs. Guest. Thank⁢ you for joining ‌me today on this‍ special occasion to discuss ⁣the latest political developments in Greece and the emergence of a new party⁣ led by ‍Stefanos⁢ Kasselakis. Let’s begin by ⁤understanding the motivations behind the party’s formation, ⁢Mr. Guest. What are ‌your thoughts on the need for ⁤a new‍ beginning‌ in the political scene of⁣ the country?

Guest 1: I believe that in any democracy, the need for new beginnings is‌ always‌ present, especially after a period of stagnation or instability. In ⁤Greece’s case, the economic crisis has left many ⁣citizens disillusioned with traditional party ‌politics, and the emergence ‌of a new movement that‌ promotes progressive ideals is a welcome development. However, it remains to be seen whether this‌ new party can deliver on its promises and offer real solutions to‌ the challenges facing‍ the country.

Guest 2: Absolutely. ⁢I see the formation⁢ of ‌this new party as an ‍opportunity for the progressive movement in Greece⁤ to re-assert itself and regain the ‌trust of ‍voters.⁢ Mr. Kasselakis has made it clear‍ that he wants a bottom-up approach, with input from the people themselves. This is a refreshing change from the top-down approach that has characterized many political parties in the past. I am curious to see how they plan to⁢ engage with citizens and ensure their voices ⁣are heard.

Professional Website Editor: That’s an interesting point. In his speech, Mr. Kasselakis emphasized the ‍importance of self-organization and addressing the people. ⁣Do you think this strategy will work in the current political climate? And‌ how‍ does it compare to the experiences of other political⁢ parties that have attempted similar approaches?

Guest ‍1: Self-organization and direct engagement with citizens are crucial aspects‌ of any democracy, but it ⁤remains to be seen whether this‍ can work effectively ⁤in Greece’s highly polarized political ⁣landscape. Many political parties have tried to‌ engage citizens through social media and other means, but ‌they tend‌ to fall short⁢ of their lofty goals. It will be important for this new ‍party to find innovative ways to ‌connect with citizens and⁤ build a sustainable⁢ grassroots movement.

Guest 2:⁤ I believe that Mr.⁤ Kasselakis understands the‌ challenges ahead
