“Hello Instagram, you should know by now that the newspapers tend to make big headlines, like ‘Fresi’s illness’. I understand your concern. I wanted to tell you that I’m fine, it was an episodic thing. I stopped, I did all the checks. Burst of health”. Thus on social media in a video in stories Stefano Fresi reassures fans after the early morning news of the illness which on Saturday 9 March led him to interrupt his show in Brescia, where he was on stage with the monologue Dioggene at the Centrolucia theatre.
“Everyone don’t worry, I thank you very much for the affection shown, but I’m fine – he adds smiling – don’t make apocalyptic stories saying ‘Come on Stefano, you’ll make it’.
I’m really well and I have respect for those who are really sick. I swear I’m fine, I love everyone.”
The Centrolucia theater also updated spectators on what happened on its Facebook page: “Following the illness that occurred during the performance, we inform our kind audience that we spoke with Stefano Fresi and he reassured us about his health conditions. The scare was great for everyone – they explain – also because, for an actor, interrupting a show is always the last possibility.
Fortunately everything is being resolved. Stefano is better and he immediately told us that he wants to make up the date. Therefore, we are working to find one available compatible with the theater’s programming and we will inform you as soon as possible”
