The leader of “Bulgarian Rise” Stefan Yanev answered the question of whether he would take Kiril Petkov and Asen Vassilev into his office. Yanev was twice acting prime minister, appointed by Rumen Radev, and Petkov and Vassilev were his ministers of economy and finance in his second team.
No, I would not take Kiril and Asen again, I already know them, Yanev was categorical in an interview for BNT.
It was not my intention to make predictions that would come true in such a negative scenario as they developed. I was attacked politically, I’m almost the reason. Rather, the reason was what I observed as a trend in the relations between the parties, commented Yanev on the occasion of his previous prediction that the days of the current cabinet are numbered.
“Even then – at the end of February – the beginning of March, it was clear in general, from how in Europe and in Bulgaria in particular, the executive power made its decisions.
The rise of the state is not possible without balance in political relations,” said Stefan Yanev.
The previous ruling coalition was unprincipled, he said.
Regarding gas supplies, Yanev commented that until now the EC has given serious slogans on how to act, and the states have proceeded as they see fit.
