Stefan Arsov appointed as new regional governor of Sofia, along with five other regional governors

Stefan Arsov is the new regional governor of the city of Sofia

Six new regional governors were appointed in the region of Lovech, Ruse, Silistra, Sliven, Sofia and Sofia, the caretaker government press center announced.

Stefan Arsov is the new regional governor of the city of Sofia. He has a master’s degree in “Law” from Sofia University “St. Ohridski Fame”. A long-term lawyer with experience in both the private sector and the municipal administration of the capital city. Until now, he was the regional deputy governor of the area.

Chavdar Bozhurski was appointed to the post in Sliven district. He holds a master’s degree in law from the University of St. Ohridski reputation”. From 2017 to 2021, he held the same management position. From last August until now, he has been the deputy regional governor of the Sliven region. Before that, Bozhurski held a management position in Group- Regional Police Directorate – Sliven.

Iliyan Velikov is the new regional governor of Silistra region. Velikov graduated from “Angel Kanchev” Higher Technical School in Ruse. Twice he was deputy regional governor in the Silistra region. Before that, he held management positions in ODMVR-Silistra.

Dragomir Draganov was appointed as the regional governor of Russia. He has a master’s degree in economics. He was a national representative in the 48th and 49th National Assembly. He was the mayor of Dve Mogili town from 2007 to 2011 and the deputy mayor of Byala town.

Silvia Arnautska was appointed district governor of the Sofia region. She graduated with a master’s degree in “Preschool and Elementary Pedagogy” and “Education Management – Education Management” at the Southwest University “Neofit Rilski”. Arnautska has been a teacher for several years, and for the past seven years she has been an expert on “Education and Health Care” in the town of Ihtiman.

Dora Angelova was appointed regional governor of the Lovech region. She graduated in “Law” and “Economics” at UNSS. She is a long-term employee of the Regional Administration in Lovech, and until that time she was “Chief Legal Adviser”. He also has experience in the social field as a “Senior Legal Adviser” in the Regional Directorate of “Social Assistance” in the city.
