Steeve Nzegho Dieko auditioned by the CNLCEI – Journal du Gabon

The former Secretary General of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG), was heard this Friday, February 16, 2024, by the National Commission to Fight Corruption and Enrichment illicit for suspicion of corruption and embezzlement of public funds.

Placed under house arrest, after the coup d’état of August 30, 2023, by the transition committee for the restoration of institutions (CTRI), Steeve Nzegho Dieko, former Secretary general of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG), was heard today with Abdul Oceni Ossa, also prosecuted for massive embezzlement of public funds, active corruption, drug trafficking ©fiends, of criminal association.

Indeed, the National Commission for the Fight against Corruption and Illicit Enrichment, in its investigative mission, conducts investigations in order to gather evidence on which the Public Ministry (prosecution) could rely to undertake possible legal proceedings.

Note that Cyriaque Mvourandjiami, former Chief of Staff of Ali Bongo, and Gisèle Mombo, mother-in-law of Ian Ghislain Ngoulou, former Chief of Staff of Noureddin Bongo Valentin, were interviewed on last February 13. The latter are in prison for embezzlement of public funds and corruption with Ian Ghislain Ngoulou, Noureddin Bongo Valentin, Jessye Ella Ekogha (spokesperson for the presidency) and the former first lady Sylvia Bongo Ondimba.
