Vegas. Najee Harris finally found his best after a slow start to the season, rushing for 106 yards and a touchdown in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 32-13 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Harris surpassed 100 yards for the first time since finishing last season with two consecutive such performances. He rushed for 1,000 yards in each of his first three seasons, but came into this game averaging 3.3 yards per carry this year.
Quarterback Justin Fields had 59 rushing yards and two touchdownsalthough he threw just 145 yards.
Fields’ continued tenure in the starting job had been called into question after his recent lackluster performances and Russell Wilson’s first activation this season after being out with a calf injury.
Pittsburgh snapped a two-game losing streak with its highest-scoring game since beating Cincinnati 34-11 on Dec. 23. The Steelers came into the game ranked 26th in scoring offense, averaging 18.4 points.
Their defense, which gave up 803 yards in losses the past two weeks, returned to its early-season form, when its first three opponents won only allowed 687 yards combined. Pittsburgh held the Raiders to 275 yards, and four-time All-Pro TJ Watt forced two fumbles and had two tackles for loss.
Halcones win 38-20 against Panthers
Bijan Robinson ran for 95 yards and two touchdownsTyler Allgeier added 105 yards rushing and a touchdown and the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Carolina Panthers 38-20 on Sunday for their third win over an NFC South opponent in three weeks.
Kirk Cousins completed 19 of 30 passes for 225 yards and threw a touchdown three yards to Drake London.
Carolina’s Andy Dalton finished 26 of 38 passing for 221 yards with two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions in the fourth quarter for the Panthers (1-5), who have lost three straight.
The Falcons (4-2) took a 22-17 halftime lead thanks to runs from touchdown of 5 and 7 yards from Robinson and a perfectly scored touchdown pass from Cousins to London.
By the fourth quarter, the Panthers trailed 28-20, however, and although they had a chance, they did not score, while the Falcons quickly capitalized, hitting Carolina’s worn-out defense to separate themselves on the scoreboard.
The Panthers had a variety of self-inflicted errors, including three false starts, a bad play, a dropped pass, a botched blocking assignment and miscommunication, plus an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

Leones overtakes Vaqueros
Jared Goff threw for 315 yards with three touchdowns after his string of completions ended with his first attempt, and the Detroit Lions routed Dallas 47-9 on Sunday, handing the Cowboys their fourth straight lopsided loss at home.
David Montgomery had two touchdown runs for the Lions (4-1), who were without star defensive back Aidan Hutchinson after he suffered a serious lower left leg injury in the third quarter.
Dak Prescott suffered two interceptions in the worst home loss since 1988 for the Cowboys (3-3), who became the first team since at least 2000 to trail by 14 points or more at halftime for the fourth straight game in home. Dallas is 0-3 at home and 3-0 on the road.
Detroit led 27-6 at halftime, leaving Dallas’ combined lead after two quarters at AT&T Stadium at 110-35, dating back to the wild-card game in the playoffs in January against Green Bay.
The current streak is preceded by a 16-game winning streak at home, the second-longest in franchise history, and the 167 points allowed by Dallas are the third-most in a four-game home streak in franchise history. NFL.
Goff set an NFL single-game record by going 18-of-18 in the Lions’ win over Seattle before their bye week. Goff’s overall streak of 19 completions (six shy of the league record) ended when he failed to connect with running back Jahmyr Gibbs on Detroit’s second offensive play.
