A separate material should also be used for the ergonomics of the Steam Deck, but I can already say that for such huge equipment it is… surprisingly comfortable. I admit that I was apprehensive because I personally hate the full-size Nintendo Switch; I feel much better playing on a small Switch Lite or PS Vita, which have a more compact design. Meanwhile, Steam Deck is even wider than the Switch, so I was afraid that it would be uncomfortable, and yet – it’s just the opposite. The handles are fleshy and give a very firm grip, and the bizarrely placed D-pad and buttons turn out to be in the perfect position. I am not exaggerating to say that I am more comfortable playing on Steam Deck than on an Xbox pad, although I must admit that I get on my nerves with additional buttons on the back of the housing, which I am not used to yet.
