Previously, on the afternoon of May 30, the police of Binh Tan district stormed the lobby of Thanh Binh 3 hotel (Binh Hung Hoa B ward, Binh Tan district) and caught Hung hiding in his pants pocket, a nylon bag containing 10 grams of drugs.

Tam declared in November 2022, Tam was introduced by Hieu to a person named Bin (whose identity is unknown, from Kien Giang) to buy a K59 gun and four bullets for 40 million VND.

In April 2023, Tam sold the gun to Hoang for 40 million VND. Because he did not have money to use, Hoang asked Tam to “reclaim” the gun and eight bullets for 35 million VND. However, before the two sides had time to transact, Tam was arrested.

Following the clues, on May 31, the police arrested Hieu and discovered that this person was in possession of drugs. Hieu testified that he introduced Bin to sell the aforementioned gun and four bullets to Tam, receiving a commission of five million.
