Jakarta –
The motorbike travelers stole the start of going home on D-8 this Eid. Motorbike travelers traffic in Kalimalang getting busy.
For information, the government previously predicted that the peak of the homecoming flow would occur next week on April 27-29.
Monitoring detik.com, at the 2022 Lebaran Service Post at Pangkalan Jati Intersection, Duren Sawit, Sunday (24/4/2022) at 20.00 WIB, it was seen that some travelers had started to rush to leave the capital via Jl Raya Kalimalang. This line is a link to Jl Pantura.
One of the travelers named Idi, said that this was his first trip during Lebaran homecoming. He will travel for 8 hours to Bumiayu, Central Java.
“When this new Eid (homecoming) comes, usually often. To Central Java, Bumi Ayu. About 8 hours if there are no traffic jams,” said Idi when interviewed, Sunday (4/24/2022).
Idi said he prefers to travel at night. He added that traffic jams usually occur in the Cikampek area.
“Enjoy walking at night rather than during the day. Usually traffic jams in Cikampek,” he said.
He admitted that he was happy with going home in 2022. Because after 2 years of the pandemic, the government has finally allowed people to go home.
“I’m very happy. Lebaran is two years away from going home. It’s more flavorful,” concluded Idi.
Traffic density at the Pangkalan Jati Intersection, East Jakarta began to increase since 20.30 WIB. Even though the government recommends not to use motorbikes, some travelers are still seen crossing Jl Raya Kalimalang.
