Romelu Lukaku was still there last week. ‘My brother’, Salt Bae called the football player on Instagram, although they are clear anyway from another mother. Photos show Lukaku trying to imitate how Salt Bae (his real name is Nusret Gökçe) sprinkles salt on his steaks. Not an ordinary shake of the keg, but a rehearsed and typical throwing movement that should radiate casual cool, the salt slides along the elbow.
Eating at the cook’s house seems to be a popular outing for (former) football players. Over the years, stars like Ronaldo, Beckham and Messi were spotted at Salt Bae. Actor Jason Statham was also seen and the Dutch rapper Dopebwoy once shared a mini video YouTube following his visit in which the cook cut his food.
