LOWER SAXONY. Almost every second person in Lower Saxony volunteers in their free time – the Ministry of Social Affairs writes on its website. Reason enough to focus on all those who do voluntary work in cultural education – with a digital specialist day that offers them an exchange platform and three practical workshops on the topics of legal security for board members, getting their own resources and young people for inspire the club’s work.
“Volunteers are an important pillar of cultural education,” says Anja Krüger from the Landesvereinigung Kulturelle Jugendbildung Niedersachsen e. V. (LKJ) and moderator of the exchange round. “They lead children’s choirs, build backdrops with amateur theater groups, monitor the coffers of circus groups, supervise media-educational holiday camps – only their use enables many cultural projects to be implemented for children and young people. With the specialist day, which takes place on the International Volunteer Day, we would like to honor your commitment – and provide you with diverse support for your work. “
