The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population indicated that eating a plate of green salad on a daily basis is one of the most important reasons for preventing noncommunicable diseases, especially cancerous diseases.

  • Completely avoid the use of hydrogenated fats in cooking, and replace them with margarine, butter, or vegetable oils

  • Make sure to eat 5 fruits a day of medium-sized vegetables or fruits

It can sometimes be difficult to give up fried potato chips and soft drinks, which are part of many people’s daily routine.

  • French fries (may be high in fat): carrots, or sweet potatoes roasted in the oven
