We get Wednesday, July 22 see a nice tractor show again! The radical group FDF promises to make it a spectacle again. They will be hitting the highways again to demonstrate. Because fair is fair, the situation for farmers is still dire. But whether the actions of Farmers Defense Force are the best solution….
To make the action look even more impressive, Farmers Defense Force hopes that they will not take the car on Wednesday. After all, they themselves plan to enter the highways with tractors.
The organization finds Rutte’s promise that the whole of the Netherlands should cooperate in nitrogen reduction, but empty. At the bottom of the line, it is still the farmers who are hit hard. And that is not fair according to FDF.
“Nitrogen must be reduced and, according to Prime Minister Rutte, we must all do that. But until now, that assignment has been unilaterally placed with the farmers. ”
Now the organization hopes that Dutch people will stay at home during the action. They came up with the ‘ingenious’ inspiration to work from home for just one more day. Since many Dutch people have already done so during the entire corona crisis.
“We have now mastered working from home quite well, so it doesn’t seem that difficult to me.”
In my opinion, these types of organizations are more likely to harm the interests of the agricultural sector than the sector is improving through this type of action. FDF has a pretty bad track record by now.
