Stay Cool in Isère: Free Air-Conditioned Lounge and Transport for Vulnerable People during Heat Wave

Since Sunday, August 13, Isère has been on orange heat wave alert by Météo France. In this context, the municipality is setting up a reinforced vigilance system with the Municipal Center for Social Action (CCAS) for vulnerable people. Thus, an air-conditioned lounge is open to everyone at the Résidence autonomie Pierre-Sémard, every day from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. For those who cannot get there by themselves, a free transport system is offered by the CCAS with an air-conditioned vehicle.

Also, during this period, people voluntarily registered on the register of fragile people are regularly called by the CCAS.

To contact the Saint-Martin-d’Hères CCAS: weekdays on 04 76 60 74 12, weekends and public holidays

on 06 43 51 25 39 for a heat wave referent.
