The Brazilian player provided no assists or goals when Newcastle won 2-1 at home Tottenham. But his presence on the pitch still makes him pay particular attention to the opponent, to the point of breaking him three times.
Bruno Guimaraes played 89 minutes of play before being sent off. After the match, he also admitted that he could have chosen not to play because he had been up all night waiting for his son to be born by his beloved wife.
“This is for you,” he wrote Bruno Guimaraes on his Twitter account, addressing fans Newcastle.
“Two days without sleep, I might be home but I always want to be here with you! Thanks for the support and kisses away from Matteo for you! He is Geordie from Brazil,” she continued, including a photo of her beloved baby boy.
