Staufen: 23./24. March: Staufen bypass and cycle path closed due to repair work – Freiburg Regional Council removes construction defects – Traffic will be diverted through Staufen on March 24th

When the new Staufen bypass was accepted (Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald), deficiencies in the asphalt layer were found that need to be remedied. The asphalt has to be milled out in two places and replaced with a new top layer, according to the Freiburg Regional Council (RP).

On Tuesday, March 23rd, the new cycle path along Wettelbrunner Straße (L 129) between the “Rundacker II” building area and the “Spitzäcker” allotment garden must therefore be closed. During the rework, bicycle traffic will be routed along the state road.

On Wednesday, March 24th, the new bypass (L 123) between Grunerner Strasse (L125) and Wettelbrunner Strasse must also be closed. On this day, traffic will be rerouted through the town via Münstertäler Straße (old L123), according to the RP.
