In Ukraine, infection coronavirus confirmed in 11 145 citizens per day, among new patients – 585 children and 199 health workers. On the morning of March 21, the total number of cases reached 1 546 363.
Of these, COVID-19 claimed lives 29 941 human (+166), wherein 1 257 849 Ukrainians overcame the disease (+3877). This was reported in Facebook head of the Ministry of Health (Ministry of Health) Maxim Stepanov, updated the data and website NSDC.
Most of the confirmed cases were recorded in the Lviv region – 1117, Kharkov – 879, Zhytomyr – 814, Dnepropetrovsk – 760 and Khmelnytsky – 740. More 4838 people were hospitalized.

Traditionally, official statistics do not provide information on the spread of coronavirus infection in the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk, Luhansk regions and Crimea.
During the day in Ukraine conducted 68,776 tests for COVID-19, in particular 35,240 by PCR, 6443 by ELISA, as well as 27,093 studies with rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2. And in total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 7,659,777 PCR tests have been performed.
