Although the market has long preferred SUVs, the station wagon still boast many admirers. We are talking about practical cars with a vocation for travellers, which for decades have left behind the old stereotype of the work vehicle, acquiring more and more elegance or dynamism. Even these, however, are no strangers to the great changes in the car of these years: electrified powertrains are advancing with arrogance in their price lists and prices are also rising for this category, as are the dimensions. That’s right: even among the models derived from compact hatchbacks, the length of family cars often exceeds 4.6 metres, while the smaller ones have been sacrificed on the altar of profitability.
