This Thursday, the Dutch-speaking parties in Brussels contacted liberal trainer David Leisterh to ask him to begin consultations with French-speaking partners with a view to forming a coalition. Finally ! Six months after the regional elections, it is even very late given the problems which require urgent attention. A series of events, however, raise fears that the birth of a government, if it materializes, will not make it possible to break the deadlock: the parties that have been maneuvering for months could well end up causing what they should fear, the ungovernability of Brussels. And it would be too easy to blame the institutional structure.
