NEW YORK — Visitors to the Staten Island Mall during Black Friday they had an unpleasant experience.
A teenager was stabbed in the venue’s food court, disrupting the Christmas cheer over the crime, according to authorities.
Two 16-year-olds argued before one pulled out a knife and allegedly stabbed the other in the stomach, the uniformed officer said. Video recorded at the scene showed a large police response.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and is expected to recover. Police said the other teenager involved was arrested and a knife was collected at the scene.
This is a case under investigation.
