Vienna (OTS) – Regarding the report published today in the Kronenzeitung, according to which the WKSTA wants to bring charges against Siegfried Wolf, Wolf’s spokesman, Josef Kalina, states:
“We are very surprised by the news:
Firstthat the judiciary informs us via the media.
Secondlybecause in our opinion the facts are far from being determined.
This is particularly so because in the specific case there are numerous examples of grossly abusive behavior from the large-scale audit that was active at the time, which we list in detail in a description submitted last week and which, to our knowledge, have not yet been properly determined and taken into account in exoneration.
We assume that these circumstances are not yet known to the head of the department; In any case, we will ensure that all those responsible are informed accordingly.”
