Psychiatrists are more likely to prescribe drugs such as ketamine, MDMA and psilocybin in patients with depression. Nothing wrong with it?
According to psychiatrists, there are more and more studies showing that drugs such as ketamine, MDMA and psylocibine (a substance from ‘magic mushrooms’) can work well against psychiatric disorders such as depression or post-traumatic stress disorder.
The use of these drugs is not harmless and they can be quite addictive. Psychiatrists are therefore calling for government research to prevent patients from experimenting without a doctor.
