The President of the Parliament and re-elected Member of Parliament of Ioannina of the ND, Mr. Konstantinos Tasoulas, after the announcement of the election results, made the following statement:
“Indeed, a better day begins for Greece today. The Greek people, with a large majority, once again trusted Kyriakos Mitsotakis and New Democracy to lead the country into the new four-year period. The election result, the range of the difference, all show that the people are asking for effective and decisive governance, which only the autonomy of seats in the Parliament can guarantee. This remains to be ratified just as solemnly and directly in the next ones that will take place as soon as possible. Epirus and Ioannina justifiably gave a large majority to the ND. Personally, having been re-elected again, with the honorable vote of my fellow citizens, I thank them very much and ask them with their militancy and participation in the next elections to increase the seats of the ND in our county, which would be ensured by the yesterday’s result already if the enhanced analog applied. I congratulate and thank all my fellow candidates on the ND ballot for the good fight we fought together.”
