In support of the families’ economy and as part of the State Government’s strategy to provide the necessary tools and conditions for quality learning, the Ministry of Education and Sports (SEyD) delivered sports uniforms and school supplies to female students. and students from the municipality of Madera.
Regarding the clothing packages, 1,000 students from 11 primary schools benefited from a pair of pants, a polo shirt, a jacket and a pair of sports sneakers. These kits were also sent to 50 girls and boys who are cared for at the Rural School Shelter.
The school supplies were awarded to a total of 1,805 students, of which 98 correspond to the Preschool level, 1,279 to Primary and 428 to Secondary.
The event took place in the gymnasium of the “Abraham González” State Primary School No. 2228 and was led by the head of the department, Sandra Elena Gutiérrez Fierro, who stated that through this support, the commitment of the current Administration is endorsed with education.
“We are convinced that education is a powerful and fundamental tool that allows anyone to access better living conditions,” said the official, who added that one of the priorities of this Government is attention to the needs of schools. .
In turn, the director of the headquarters campus, Leonel González Ledezma, commented that what was delivered by the SEyD is for the direct benefit of those who are the reason for the teaching work, that is, the girls, boys and adolescents.
Representing the students, the student from the “Abraham González” State Primary School, Adaly Molinar Ledezma, thanked the State Government, since the uniforms and supplies help them have better conditions to study, which also favors their development and learning.
Additionally, 15 gas heaters were distributed to three primary schools and one secondary school, as well as gas vouchers to 52 Basic Education schools in the municipalities of Ignacio Zaragoza, Gómez Farías, Matachí, Temósachi and Madera.
