Buying a new car is becoming almost impossible for an increasing number of Czechs. As the website says E15car manufacturers have been observing a decline in new car orders for a long time. Many people resort to buying second-hand, or purchase new cars for operational leasing. But now there is hope for many. Some people receive up to 300,000 crowns from the state to buy a new car. Will you also be entitled to the money?
Electric cars are once again at an advantage
The mentioned subsidy will apply to entrepreneurs who want to buy a new electric car, as the website writes FinTag. And it’s not that surprising. Recently, benefits for electric cars are appearing more and more. As it appears from the website eDalnice, electric cars in the Czech Republic, for example, are exempt from paying tolls. And for example, Stockholm, Sweden plans to completely ban cars with internal combustion engines from entering the city center from 2025, as Události247 wrote.

Now many electromobility enthusiasts are cheering again. The Ministry of Industry and Trade has come up with a new one by supporting electromobility. Private individuals who want to buy a car for their own purposes are out of luck. Financial aid is intended only for companies and entrepreneurs.
How to get money?
Applications for support will be open from January 1 to September 30, 2024, the website says Elektrickevozy. It will be possible to get 200,000 crowns for the purchase of a personal electric car, then up to 300,000 crowns for the purchase of a truck or hydrogen vehicle. However, the purchase price of a passenger car must not exceed 1.5 million crowns.

In total, the ministry allocated 1.95 billion crowns for the program called Electromobility Guarantee, according to the website ministries. “It is to support the purchase of cars of the total amount allocated 1.65 billionthe remaining CZK 300 million is earmarked for infrastructure,” supplied by the FinTag website.
However, in order to actually receive the subsidy, the applicant must meet several conditions. In addition to the fact that only companies can draw the subsidy, the restriction also applies to the method of financing. „Support will be provided in the form of a bank guarantee for a commercial loan and the financial contribution itself. The Národní rozvojová banka (NRB) will provide the entrepreneur with a guarantee for a loan for the purchase of a car,” supplied by the Elektrickevozy website.
