For Olaf Malolepski, 2021 should be a year full of celebrations. 60 years stage anniversary, 50 years married and his 75th birthday were coming up. The Bretten native couldn’t celebrate any of this this year. A bitter blow for the former member of the Flippers. Now the 75-year-old also had to postpone his live birthday tour. A year without a tour, quite unusual for Olaf Malolepski. Olaf Malolepski has been a successful solo artist since the flippers ended 10 years ago. His stage name: Olaf the Flipper. In the Landesschau Studio, the musician tells how much he missed his audience this year and how happy he is still with his wife after 50 years of marriage.
