State Security Shuts Down Pharmacy Selling Smuggled Medicines in Akkar

After information was received by the General Directorate of State Security in Akkar about a pharmacy that sells smuggled medicines, without being subjected to the necessary laboratory and administrative procedures before entering Lebanon, and without the necessary licenses from the Ministry of Health or the Pharmacists Syndicate.

As a result, a patrol went to the pharmacy owned by (M.D.), accompanied by an inspector from the Pharmacists Syndicate. The pharmacy was sealed with red wax, and an investigation is underway with its owner under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
