With the state award for cultural education, the state government promotes offers that convey art and culture to young people and strengthens the development of local structures and networks between youth, cultural and educational institutions and other actors in cultural education. KCultural education makes a significant contribution to the personality development of young people. Children and young people have the opportunity to get to know art and culture and to discover them for themselves at an early stage The prize honors cross-professional cooperation in the categories of cultural institutions, schools and youth work.

Process:
The award ceremony starts at 4 p.m. with a performance by zakk und Poesieschlacht e. V. Stefan Fischer-Fels, director of the Junges Schauspiel Düsseldorf and Wilfried Schulz, general manager of the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, will then welcome the guests.
The awarding of the prizewinners by Minister for Children and Youth Josefine Paul and Minister for Education Dorothee Feller with further performances by zakk and Poesieschlacht e. V. takes place between 4:10 p.m. and 5:10 p.m.
