The State Police (SP) has started several proceedings for administrative violations, including the use and possession of narcotic substances, as well as driving an electric scooter while under the influence of alcohol, the State Police informed the LETA agency.
Evaluating as a whole, representatives of the VP noted that the festival was generally held peacefully.
It has already been reported that the Baltic beach festival “Summer Sound 2023” that took place this weekend has reached a attendance record, surpassing the 40,000 guests reached last year, the organizers of the event informed the LETA agency.
It is true that the exact number of the festival organizers is not yet known, but it will certainly exceed the 40,000 guests reached last year.
Artists on the main stage of the second night of the festival were Estonia’s Noep, domestic hip-hop master Gustavo, the group “The Good Type” and one of the most sought-after German DJ Felix Jaehn in the world at the moment.
Several domestic and foreign musicians gave performances on the other stages of the festival. In the club “Klubs ++” DJs of the new generation of Latvia performed their sets, as well as already experienced and popular masters.
During the day, there was a Volleyball tournament, movie screenings in the Cinema tent, a festival market, a Children’s Town and many other entertainment options.
The organizers of the festival reveal that next year the event “Summer Sound 2024” will take place on August 2 and 3. Tickets will be on sale soon.
The “Summer Sound” festival took place on Liepaja beach for the 11th time this year.
