Ottawa continues to evacuate people from 380 wildfires in Canada. A state of emergency has been declared in British Columbia following wildfires, and people have been instructed to evacuate 30,000 homes. People were banned from entering Kelowna, which was shrouded in heavy smoke. Thousands of homes burned in west Kelowna. Travel restrictions are also in place to Kamloops, Oliver, Penticton, Vernon and Osoyoos. Officials said the current wildfire is the largest in British Columbia’s history. 15,000 households were asked to evacuate on Friday.
