Mexico City.— In busy places on the border between Texas and Tamaulipas, through different dissemination mechanisms, the faces of the 10 criminals who threaten development and peace in said region will be displayed.
These actions are part of the Wanted campaign, which will continue binationally, announced on social networks Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca and the head of the Rio Grande Sector of the Border Patrol, Brian Hastings.
Authorities on both sides of the border agreed that this campaign has been a success in previous editions, for which it has been relaunched.
They noted that the objectives are to locate, disrupt and displace members of criminal organizations and, at the same time, encourage the public to help remove criminals from communities through anonymous reporting with a United States telephone line.
The faces of the criminal targets are released in a brochure, with two phone numbers that allow the public to provide anonymous clues.
The state government and the Border Patrol called on the population to report any suspicious activity of criminals in their communities at no cost to 800-863-9382 and by message to WhatsApp + 1-956-295-0887.
The list of the 10 most wanted criminals is made up of: Juan Gerardo Treviño-Chávez alias El Huevo; Humberto Alejandro Uribe-Mendoza, Pawa; Ernesto Sánchez-Rivera, known as M22 or Cuate; Pablo Misael Ramos-Lara, El Pantera or El Mezqui; Héctor Sánchez-Rivera, alias La Mimi, El Cuate or M1.
Also, César Morfín Morfín, El Primito; Álvaro Noé Morfín Morfín, R-8; José Martín Cárdenas-García, Chiwilly; Agustín Ordorica-López; Carlos Roel Collazo-Rodríguez, alias Chuy 7, Chuy Sierra or Collazo.
