Zacatecas, Zac.-The State Government, through the Undersecretariat of the National Employment Service (SNE), provided 70 Zacatecans with their hiring to work in five Canadian provinces in the cultivation of vegetables, starting in January 2021 and for six and eight months .
Recipients of the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program (PTAT) will go to Quebec, Nova Scotia, British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario, where they will receive wages of C $ 14 per hour, once they meet the requirements established by the federation and pass their evaluations.
Cliserio del Real Hernández, head of the SNE, stressed that despite the pandemic, they have worked hard online with Canadian companies and managed to send the first workers for 2021, to whom their documentation of the work permits and your departure flights.
The state official exhorted the workers from Tlaltenango, Santa María de la Paz, Tepechitlán, Panfilo Natera, Valparaíso, Ojocaliente, Vetagrande, Sain Alto, Villa González Ortega, Villa Hidalgo, Jalpa, Juchipila, Monte Escobedo, Calera, Huanusco, Trancoso , Zacatecas and Guadalupe, to comply with their contracts to open the possibility of more contracts and renewal of the existing ones.
The first Zacatecans will go to Canada from January 4 and so on until February 2021.
