Present at the conference were deputy Georgina Zapata, head of the Carlos Montemayor Aceves legislative library, María Soledad Limas Frescas, and the president of the State Congress, Adriana Terrazas.
This initiative was unanimously approved so that during this month the book donation campaign can be promoted.
To donate books, you can go to the Public Relations Department at Av. Independencia 209, Centro, 31000, as well as at the Legislative Library.
In the words of Deputy Terrazas “donating a book is synonymous with donating an opportunity for reading to be a tool to preserve knowledge.”
In her participation, Deputy Geo Zapata said that they plan to do this campaign in all municipalities, since unfortunately, in our state we have low reading rates, compared to other states.
In her speech, Deputy Terrazas thanked María Soledad Frescas, since she “runs the Carlos Montemayor Aceves Library of this state congress with great professionalism” and also thanked Deputy Geo Zapata for being the initiator of this campaign.
