The government of change, led by Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, maintains joint actions with the federal government, in order to collaborate in the distribution of vaccines that are sent to supplement the vaccination programs against Covid-19, so there are sufficient doses to pay attention to those who have not yet started the regimen or who have already received a previous dose.
The Secretary General of the Government, J. Guadalupe Torres Sánchez, acknowledged that with respect to all the federal programs applied in San Luis Potosí, there is coordination with the delegate Gabino Morales Mendoza and, in the case of vaccines, there are sufficient doses of various biologicals, “the recommendation of the specialists is that even with the full scheme one more dose should be applied and in terms of access there are enough for the entire population to have access to that vaccine”.
He affirmed that it is necessary not to let his guard down and to strengthen preventive measures to break the chains of contagion from Covid-19, and recalled that the Government of Change has adopted some alternative measures such as the compulsory use of masks and the application of the hybrid scheme starting next Monday 9 January in the back to school scheduled in the official calendar of the 2022-2023 school year, and the 100% face-to-face program will be Monday 16 January.
The Secretary General of the Government reiterated that the booster doses prevent the registration of serious cases and also an increase in the number of hospitalizations, and invited those who have not been vaccinated to show solidarity and listen to the statements and recommendations of the Health Services.
He specifies that if the preventive measures are maintained, total closures will be avoided, as happened at the beginning of the pandemic, and this is a way to relaunch the state’s economy and give continuity to actions, programs and projects for 2023.
