Ministry of Health (Ministry of Health) changing the conditions for recovering residents exposed to the corona virus (Covid-19) in the application CareProtect. Citizens can now change the status of ‘Black’ to ‘Green’ in the application with just one test PCR.
The Chief of Digital Transformation Office of the Ministry of Health, Setiaji, said that initially residents who were declared cured had to go through PCR examinations twice on D+5 and D+6. That rule no longer applies as of tonight.
“Starting tonight for exit test A second PCR is not required. So it’s enough to just do it once exit test PCR and the results were negative. If it’s negative, the PeduliLindung status will automatically turn green, yesterday it had to be twice,” Setiaji said at a press conference, Tuesday (22/2).
Setiaji reminded that the only valid exit test was the PCR test, while the rapid antigen was not yet valid. This happens because so far PCR is still considered a ‘golden standard‘ Covid-19 examination in Indonesia.
For residents who are confirmed to have Covid-19 and do not intend to carry out an exit test or PCR, they must wait for the ‘Black’ status to change to ‘Green’ after 10 days.
The black color in the PeduliLindung application indicates that residents cannot go and enter public places for several reasons. These include being positive for Covid-19 for less than 10 days, a history of contact with a positive case (close contact) for less than 10 days, and arrivals from abroad.
“Otherwise, the H+5 to H+10 PCR will automatically turn green, even though neither exit test nor PCR is carried out,” he said.
