KOMPAS.com – Most of the participants BPJS Health starting today, Sunday (1/11/2020), are asked to re-register.
Head of Public Relations BPJS Health, M. Iqbal Anas Ma’ruf, explained that JKN-KIS participants who need to re-register are participants from the State Official Wage Recipient Workers (PPU PN) and Non-Workers (BP) segments.
According to him, re-registration is necessary because some participant data are not completed with NIK.
“The number (which needs re-registration) is not much. If it can show e-KTP for update, immediately active at that time, “said Iqbal to Kompas.com, Saturday (31/10/2020).
When participants BPJS Health do not re-register, the card will be temporarily deactivated.
“The card cannot be used for a while. KK / KTP must be updated,” said Iqbal.

How to check that you have to re-register
JKN-KIS participants can check their membership status whether or not they need to re-register through:
- JKN Mobile Application
- Whatsapp information service (CHIKA) at 08118750400
- BPJS Health Care Center 1500 400
- ONE BPJS Officer! who is in the hospital
- KPK JAGA Application
If at the time of checking the membership status, a re-registration notification appears, the participant must update the NIK data.

Iqbal says BPJS participants only need to prepare a photo KTP / KK and participant card (KIS).
“If you have reported the data update, the membership status will be reactivated within a maximum of 1×24 hours,” said Iqbal.

Re-registration of some of these participants is a program from BPJS Kesehatan, namely the Re-Registration Program (GILANG).
This program was held to follow up on KPK recommendations, BPKP audit results for the 2018 financial year, and the results of meetings with ministries / agencies.
BPJS Kesehatan provides the opportunity for the public to update data if the KIS card has not been filled with the Population Identification Number (NIK) data, or is already filled in but not in accordance with the KTP or has not been registered with the Dukcapil of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
This refers to Article 13 paragraph 1 of Law Number 23 Year 2006 concerning Population Administration that every resident is required to have a NIK.
In addition, referring to Article 8 paragraph 2 of Presidential Regulation Number 82 of 2018 concerning Health Insurance, the Healthy Indonesian Card must at least contain the name and identity number of participants registered with the NIK, except for newborns.
