The new version, which has been postponed several times, can be played in 120FPS mode on the more powerful console at 4K resolution.

In 2018, the duo of Game Atelier and FDG Entertainment brought us for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 the Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom metroidvania platformer. Later, the PC version was launched, and the game was also available for PlayStation 5, but for some reason the game avoided the Xbox Series X/St, even though it was originally announced for that as well. It seems that the wait is over, today (roughly 2:30 p.m.) the new version is finally running, which supports 120FPS mode with 4K resolution on Series X, and 1080p-120FPS or 4K on Series S /60FPS.
It’s finally happening: #MonsterBoyGame #XboxSeriesX release is imminent. Submission process has started and should finish until tomorrow. We’ll keep y’all updated! Series X will support 4K/120fps native; Series S will offer 1080p/120fps or 4K/60fps. pic.twitter.com/oiKYbkArpJ
