Large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) in DKI Jakarta will be enforced again on September 14, 2020 with a number of conditions. Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan highlighting the crowd which he said should not be more than 5 people.
“Regarding activities outside, there is a provision that I haven’t mentioned earlier that there is a crowd restriction of no more than 5 people,” Anies said in a virtual press conference from City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jakarta, Sunday (13/9/2020 ).
Anies said there were 3 Governor Regulations (Pergub) that underlie the policies, namely Pergub Number 33 of 2020 regarding PSBB, Pergub Number 79 of 2020, and Pergub Number 88 of 2020. Anies emphasized that the PSBB which is stricter than the transitional PSBB will take effect from tomorrow.
“There have been more than 1,300 people in Jakarta who have died because of COVID, we don’t want more, we want to maintain safety, we want everyone to be able to get through this pandemic to stay together with their families, keep working in offices with colleagues, and we want us to “We are getting more solid as a community. Let’s improve our self-discipline,” said Anies.
Previously, Anies said that the capacity of government offices would be limited by 25 percent. This also applies to private offices.
“As for government offices, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform in high risk zones, it is allowed to operate with a maximum of 25 percent of employees, Jakarta in the next 2 weeks will operate in the status of allowing ASN 25 percent in accordance with Menpan regulations. However, Anies said that the regulation could be disregarded for certain sectors such as disaster and law enforcement. Later called Anies, a more detailed rule is contained in Governor Regulation Number 88 of 2020.
“The leaders have the right to make adjustments related to basic public services that require more than 25 percent of employees, for example related to disasters, related to law enforcement, and other sectors,” said Anies.
“There is a note here in all activities. If a positive case is found at the location of these activities, all businesses and activities in that location must be closed for at least 3 days of operation, not only the office, but all buildings must be closed for 3 days of operation,” he added. .
