It was actually supposed to end after the second season, but Amazon and CaliVision Network saved the popular online reality format from Fritz Meinecke, Johannes Hovekamp and Max Kovacs from extinction. And it’s far from over: After the third season celebrated great success on Amazon’s free streaming service Freevee, “7 vs. Wild” season 4 also started there. Two new episodes await us every week. “7 vs. Wild” Season 4: “Crashed” edition with plane crash
As usual, “7 vs. Wild” Season 4 comes with some changes. First, those responsible for Fritz Meinecke present a scenario for the first time: a plane crash is simulated under the title “7 vs. Wild Crashed”. The organizing team actually caused a plane to crash – but of course without the occupants. Nevertheless, the seven participants are abandoned at the wreck. There they start together as a group. It is up to you whether you maintain this constellation, split up or just isolate individual people. So basically anything is possible.
The social aspects are likely to be particularly exciting, because the candidates have to 14 Roofs endure in the New Zealand wilderness. Disagreements or even conflicts are almost inevitable. Nevertheless, Meinecke emphasizes in his Announcement videothat the new episodes not will move towards reality TV. The focus continues to be on the fight for survival, with topics such as obtaining food and water, building shelters and making fires being highlighted.
With regard to clothing, the participants only received recommendations in advance to prepare for temperatures between -4 °C and 15 °C. As the cover photo above reveals, they even have to come to terms with snow. There were no guidelines. The situation is different when it comes to equipment: the candidates are not allowed to take their own items with them, but a few things are put together for the group. “7 vs. Wild” Season 4: All 7 participants – who is there?
Per YouTube-Video Format inventor Fritz Meinecke announced which seven candidates will prove themselves in “7 vs. Wild” this year. Unlike before, there was no nomination process in advance. Included are:
- Joe Vogel: Survival legend and author
- Selfiesandra: Content-Creatorin
- Joey Kelly: Musician, extreme athlete and Season 3 participant
- LetsHugo: Streamer and youngest participant in “7 vs. Wild” history
- Stefan von Survival_Germany: Extreme athlete and former soldier
- Flying Uwe: Martial artist and entrepreneur
- Julia Beautx: Content creator, actress, singer
Fans had already speculated about some of the participants because they had taken a break from social networks for several weeks. What might surprise the audience, however, is that Fritz Meinecke has removed his name from the list of candidates for the first time in the history of “7 vs. Wild”.

Where does “7 vs. Wild” Season 4 take place?
In three seasons so far, the participants have faced the wilderness in three different locations: Sweden, Panama and Canada. This covers dense forests and low temperatures as well as fantastic sandy beaches, mangroves and blazing sunshine. In season 4, the “7 vs. Wild” participants enter new territory: For the first time, they have to brave nature in the mountains – more precisely, in one Mountain valley in New Zealand. Since this is private property, activities such as making fires, hunting and fishing are easily possible. What’s special: The filming took place in the spring or summer of this year. At that time, New Zealand was in turmoil autumn to winter conditionsas the island state is located in the southern hemisphere.
