Members of the Committee of Permanent Representatives of the European Union approved a draft short list of 18 countries for which the EU is ready to open borders from July 1. It is reported TASS with reference to the source.
The countries of the Balkans, Canada, China, South Korea, Japan and others were included in the list of the first stage of the resumption of transport links – so far there are only 18 countries. Russia and the United States were not included in the list according to epidemiological criteria.
Recall that against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic at the beginning of this year, almost all countries of the world closed their borders, fearing the spread of the virus. In May, restrictions began to be lifted gradually.
By last given, in the world more than 10 million infected with coronavirus, over 104 thousand died. In a terrible rating by the number of infected, the leaders are the USA (more than 2.6 million), Brazil (over 1.3 million) and Russia (more than 641 thousand).
