Starting grid Formula 1 GP Turkey 2021 after grid penalties Hamilton and Sainz

Lewis Hamilton was the fastest driver on the field in qualifying ahead of the Turkish GP, but Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas takes pole position after a grid penalty. Hamilton has to start from eleventh place after his engine change.

Max Verstappen completes the front row on the Istanbul Park circuit, Red Bull driver Sergio Perez starts the race from sixth place. Due to an engine change at Carlos Sainz, the Ferrari driver in Turkey has to start from the back.

Update: The McLaren team decided to replace several parts of Daniel Ricciardo’s Mercedes power unit. It replaced the combustion engine, turbo, MGU-H and the exhaust. As a result, Ricciardo has to start in twentieth position.
