“The meditrack platform allowed us to control smuggling and stop storing medicines and financial waste,” Al-Abyadh said during a press conference.
And he stressed that “the drug safety platform now includes between 53 and 58 pharmacies distributed throughout the Lebanese territory, and it ensures that patients obtain their medicines.”
He added, “Despite the strike of public sector employees, it is recorded that the employees of the Ministry of Health do not stop working in order to manage citizens’ affairs.”
And he announced that “the ministry will launch, starting next Monday, the hotline 1214 to report the price discrepancy in pharmacies, provided that it takes the necessary measures, which may reach the seal with red wax.”
He pointed out that “the medleb platform made us discover the price manipulation of some pharmacies.”
