Start the boating year in Düsseldorf – a dream for boating enthusiasts

Comfortable shoes that are easy to put on and take off. Thick socks, a handy backpack and a mobile phone with plenty of space for pictures – that’s the basic recipe for a really good boat fair in Düsseldorf.

The fair is large. yes, actually huge.

Hall after hall succeeds one another, and if you want to see everything, you have a walk of many kilometers ahead of you.

Here is the show with a capital S.

The transports to the fair take place for weeks before. Every year there is some really big piece of shit in the superyacht hall, and it’s always just as difficult to understand how it got there through the city’s street network.

From the big Italian manufacturers to new small startups. From standard boats to clever inventors who present their latest, obviously revolutionary novelty. But next year they are usually no longer available.

Here there are also luxury boats with silly price tags, and rowing boats for summer cottage money. Engines, accessories and everything else you can think of.

In order for you to be able to cope with two days, which is the minimum to have time to look around, the dojos are super important.

Nice to walk in but easy to take off and on, when you go on board and look at your future dream boat.
