The German Life Saving Society (DLRG) in Lower Franconia was the organizer of the Three Kings Swim, which was in its 38th year this year. According to the DLRG, the water temperature was seven degrees on Friday and swimmers should only enter the water in neoprene suits.
For the past two years, the Three Kings Swim has had to be canceled due to the corona pandemic.
