There are normal betting games and then there is the transfer market betting round! What’s special about TM: Here you can not only compete against your friends in a private round, but also against thousands in our community. You can move up and down and compete against a prominent expert on every match day – last season, MLS professional Hany Mukhtar (5th match day) and Can Uzun (1st match day), who was still active at 1. FC Nuremberg at the time, performed best.

For all users, the transfer market tipping round takes place in a fast-paced league system from the district league right up to the Bundesliga. After a few match days, the calculations are recalculated and decisions are made about promotion and relegation. This means you can quickly tip your way up with your predictions.

The points system in the transfer market betting round

In the TM tipping round, you get 10 points if you predict a result exactly, 7 points if you get the trend right with the correct goal difference, and 5 if you at least predict the right winner, even if the goal difference is different. You will also get one point if you predict the correct number of goals for a team.

A calculation example: In the opening game of the new Bundesliga season, champions Bayer Leverkusen will face Borussia Mönchengladbach. Let’s assume you’re betting on an away win and believe the match will end 1-2 in favor of the defending champions.

You tell 10 points …

… if Borussia actually has to admit defeat to Leverkusen with exactly 1:2.

You get 7 points…

… if the game ends 0:1, 2:3 or even 3:4, because then you would have predicted a Leverkusen win and also the ratio of the goals scored in each case was right – one goal ahead for the Rhinelanders.

You get 5 points …

… if the score is 0:3, 2:4 or even 3:5. Here you have predicted the correct trend, but not the correct goal difference or the correct number of goals on either side.

You get 6 points …

… if the score was 0:2 or 1:3 – here the trend would be right and an additional point would be on the cards because, according to your tip, Leverkusen would have scored twice and Gladbach once.

You get one point…

… if Gladbach wins 1-0 at home: Wrong result, but a bonus point for the Foals scoring the right number of goals. A 1-1 or 2-2 result would also mean a consolation point.
