How must the numerous employees of the Arche Noah daycare center who were present as guests at the Brake council meeting on Thursday have felt? Although both the mayor and the parliamentary groups expressed their trust in them credibly and emphatically, the start of the daycare center under the umbrella of the new “evkita wm” association is likely to be stressful for them.
EVANGELICAL DAY CARE ASSOCIATION IN THE WESERMARSCH Braker politicians feel blackmailed by the church
The idea of bringing the Protestant daycare centers in the Wesermarsch under one roof with professional management makes sense in principle and offers a lot of advantages: for example, when it comes to substitute solutions or recruiting staff. And it is not surprising that such a professional structure does not come for free. The fact that politicians in Brake only agreed to this contract with such reluctance therefore seems to be more a problem of communication than of content. In Brake at least, the new association is starting with a considerable mortgage. For the sake of the daycare center employees and ultimately also the children, we can only hope that the association’s future management can dispel this discontent.
