Good weather is returning to several sectors of southern Quebec, as the weekend promises to be partly sunny with spring temperatures.
Apart from a few snow showers or rain showers on Friday, the weather will be sunny in the Outaouais, Montreal and in the St. Lawrence River valley with 8 degrees on the thermometer.
However, Friday will look like winter in central and eastern Quebec with rain mixed with drizzle and light snow in places.
In Quebec and Beauce, barely two centimeters of snow are expected, before giving way to a few rays of sunshine with pleasant temperatures, according to Environment Canada.
On the other hand, for the eastern sectors of the province, the federal agency maintains its warning of freezing rain with forecasts of ten centimeters by Saturday morning.
Light snow will persist on Saturday in the Bas-Saint-Laurent with nevertheless an alternation of sun and clouds for Sunday, while the mercury will drop slightly.
In Estrie, intermittent rain on Friday will be followed by a few scattered snow showers on Saturday, when temperatures will exceed 5 degrees under passing clouds.
